Rodrigo Rozado Leal

Born in Alegrete, west of Rio Grande do Sul. Graduated in Chemistry (2005/UFSM). Member of the group since 2006 when he started his Masters studies under the supervision of prof. Burrow. He studies the synthesis of new ligands derived from selenium. More specifically, has worked with the synthesis of polymers of unidimensional and bidimensional coordination of Cu(II) with the ligand phenylseleninate. Uses single crystall and powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis and measurement of magnetic susceptibility.
