Liérson Borges de Castro

Born in Alegrete, city located on the western border of Rio Grande do Sul. Member of the group since March 2003, when began his scientific initiation, studying the application of chalcogenides of indium in organic synthesis, under the supervision of prof. Peppe. Has degree in Industrial Chemistry (2004), Federal University of Santa Maria. He took his Masters degree from 2005 to 2007, exploring and developing the application of the organylchalcogenides of indium in regioselective synthesis of vinylchalcogenides. In March 2007, started the PhD thesis, studying the hydrochalcogenation of alkynes and derivatives, promoted by organylchalcogenides of indium(III). Has experience in the manipulation and synthesis of organometallic compounds. Received fellowship of scientific initiation from PROBIC / FAPERGS (March/2003 to December/2004) and Masters from CAPES(March/2005 to February/2007).
