Antinociceptive and antiinflammatory effects of natural and synthetic compounds.

Plants with pottentially therapeutic effects from Brazilian flora will be tested, by oral and systemic routes using animal models to acute and chronic pain. The same animals will be tested according to the possible anti-inflammatory effect of the drugs tested.
